There is always something going on at our sister church, the All In One Church in Haiti! It’s been a month or so since we’ve provided an update and quite a bit has happened. A few highlights are below.
Thanks to your generous donations, the kids are finally receiving a meal every day in school! (see picture below). Both their ability to concentrate in school, and their excitement about attending, has gone up significantly! This is truly a blessing, and an answer to prayer.
On December 30th, 16 people were baptized (see picture)! On the very next day (New Year’s Eve), 600 people came together at All In One to celebrate the New Year! They gathered from 7pm until 4am, and All In One fed everyone who attended (which is a big deal in Haiti!). Pastor Kesnel said that they were giving thanks and praise to the Lord throughout the evening. This is yet another example of how All In One regularly works to reach out to their community, and helping them to see how Jesus can give them hope for the future and joy in their hearts!
On January 12, the church came together for a prayer service in memory of the earthquake that took place in 2010. It was a bittersweet service, as many had a testimony about how God had saved them, and everyone spent time remembering friends and loved ones who were lost.
Every time we’ve gone to visit All In One, we’ve seen more and more people attending there! Pastor Kesnel recently sent me the picture below (taken during service) and told me that the church is getting so full that they are looking to find more benches!
All in One’s Toyota is out of service. Though they have another car, this is the only one capable of making it up into the mountains. This is very impactful, as All In One is closely associated with two churches in the mountains and has significant ministries there. Please pray about this important need!
