Life groups
And they were continually devoting themselves to the apostle’s teaching and to fellowship and to the breaking of bread and to prayer —Acts 2:42
Life Groups (our fancy name for small groups) are how we support each other in real, rubber-meets-the-road ways throughout the week and year. These groups form more or less organically, as needed, based on common life situations and shared interests.
Group leaders are in contact with elders and pastors to make sure groups stay on track and serve as a liaison for any concerns or discussions needed with church leadership.
Groups in place today might change a few months from now, as groups grow, change, split and merge to make sure we’re getting to know more people in our body and as individuals grow and change. If you’re in a singles or college group this year, experiencing a marriage or adding a child might mean moving to a young couple’s group next year. If you’re interested in studying Romans now, and are interested in exploring Greek later, you can change or join groups throughout the year.
Group sizes vary, depending on the ages and makeup of the group. We recommend groups of 12-20, but smaller or larger groups can foster fellowship too.
